Rather than trying to figure out this ridiculous Excel request BossBoy has made — I’ve spent the last hour or so updating my Wordpress blog to v2.5 and tweaking that. I fear I’m coming to the end of what I want to do with that, though (especially considering how often I forget I even have a Wordpress blog), so there may be actual hair-pulling soon.
SIGH.

I had such a British weekend — celli and I watched some Life on Mars (JOHNSIMM!), and she showed me Noises Off! which was a hoot, and we saw Death at a Funeral, which, you know, was COMPLETELY different from what I expected, but was certainly enjoyable nonetheless.
However… the best part of this weekend, by far, was re-discovering my white-hot, passionate, never-ending love for Hot Fuzz. I even dragged celli to Blockbuster late Sunday night, just to buy the dvd, so I could make her watch it — though now I am lamenting the fact that I don’t have the two-disc special edition with all the extra features. I spent all last night watching what special features I do have, and omg, I just love it so so hard. Seriously, I don’t think I could have asked for anything more from the film — it was hilarious and sharply-written and just… perfect.
I honestly cannot recommend it enough. Edgar Wright & Simon Pegg > everyone. ♥ ♥ ♥
Also, Simon Pegg as Nick Angel = HOTT. Even celli cannot deny this.

I was in Chicago last weekend for [insert awesome activity that was sadly not sex with Simon Pegg or John Simm here], and I will be going back this weekend to do it again. And when I get back, maybe I’ll tell you about it (depending on how tired I am, for [awesome activity that is sadly not sex with Simon Pegg or John Simm] is sort of weirdly exhausting.)
